Vatican City, 12 November 2015 (VIS) –
The Holy See Press Office yesterday issued the following communique:
“Various articles have been published
by news agencies and in the press referring in a biased and
inaccurate way to the content of a confidential document, based on
the assumption that in the past the Administration of the Patrimony
of the Apostolic See (APSA) has been used for illegal financial
activity. The Vatican legal authorities have opened an investigation
into the circulation of this document. APSA has always collaborated
with the competent bodies, is not under investigation and continues
to conduct its activities in accordance with current regulations”.
