Vatican City, 13 June 2014 (VIS) –
The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care
of the diocese of Multan, Pakistan, presented by bishop Andrew
Francis, in accordance with canon 401 para. 2 of the Code of Canon
Law, and appointed Rev. Benny Travas of the clergy of Karachi as
apostolic administrator “sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis”
of the same diocese.
