The Holy Father has appointed:
- Msgr. Jorge Carlo Patron Wong,
archbishop-bishop emeritus of Papantla, Mexico, as secretary for
seminaries of the Congregation for the Clergy.
- Cardinal Edwin Frederick O'Brien,
Grand Master of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulchre of
Jerusalem, as member of the Congregation for Causes of Saints.
- Professor Stefania Nanni, associate
lecturer in modern history at the “La Sapienza” University of
Rome, as consultor of the Congregation for Causes of Saints.
