Vatican City, 18 January 2014 (VIS) –
Cardinal Antonio Canizares Llovera, prefect of the Congregation for
Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, has been
nominated by Pope Francis as his special envoy to Panama for the
closing ceremony of the jubilee year convoked for the fifth centenary
of the erection of the first diocese (Santa Maria la Antigua) on dry
land in the American continent, to be held from 14 to 15 February
2014.
