- Bishop John Aloysius Morgan, former auxiliary of Canberra, Australia, on 21 May at the age of 98.
- Bishop Pierre Sagna C.S.Sp., emeritus of Saint-Louis du Senegal, Senegal on 25 May at the age of 75.
