VATICAN CITY, MAY 18, 2001 (VIS) - The Holy Father received today in separate audiences five prelates of the Pakistan Episcopal Conference, on the occasion of their "ad limina" visit:
- Archbishop Simon Anthony Pereira of Karachi, with Auxiliary Bishop Evarist Pinto.
- Bishop Anthony Theodore Lobo of Islamabad-Rawalpindi.
- Bishop Joseph Coutts of Faisalabad.
- Bishop Max John Rodrigues of Hyderabad in Pakistan.
This evening he is scheduled to receive Archbishop Tarcisio Bertone, secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
