VATICAN CITY, 16 NOV 2010 (VIS) - The Holy Father appointed Fr. Sosthene Ayikuli Udjuwa, diocesan administrator of Mahagi-Nioka, Democratic Republic of Congo, as bishop of the same diocese (area 18,490, population 1,705,486, Catholics 975,688, priests 86, religious 121). The bishop-elect was born in Faradje, Democratic Republic of Congo in 1963 and ordained a priest in 1993.
