- Alicja Grzeskowiak of Poland as an ordinary member of the Pontifical Academy for Life.
- Fr. Joseph Augustine Di Noia O.P., executive director of the Secretariat for Doctrine and Pastoral Care of the National Conference of Catholic Bishops of the United States, as under-secretary of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
- Msgrs. Angelo Acerbi, apostolic nuncio, and Attilio Nicora, emeritus of Verona and delegate of the Presidency of the Italian Episcopal Conference, as members of the Congregations for Bishops.
