VATICAN CITY, 14 SEP 2010 (VIS) - The Vatican Post Office has issued a new postmark for Benedict XVI's forthcoming trip to the United Kingdom, due to take place from 16 to 19 September. The special frank shows the Holy Father and the Venerable Cardinal John Henry Newman surrounded by the text: "BENEDICTUS XVI REGNUM UNITUM VISIT". "POSTE VATICANE 16-19.IX.2010".
The Vatican Post Office will also issue another postmark to recall the beatification of Cardinal Newman, which the Pope is due to preside on 19 September in Birmingham. It shows the figures of the Holy Father and of the new blessed accompanied by the words: "BEATIFICATION OF CARDINAL NEWMAN".
