- Bishop Jean Francois Motte, O.F.M., former auxiliary of Cambrai, France, on January 19, 2001, at the age of 87.
- Bishop Ivan Prasko, emeritus of Saints Peter and Paul of Melbourne of the Ukrainians, Australia, on January 28, 2001, at the age of 86.
- Bishop Matthew Tuan In-Min of Wanhsien, China, on January 10, 2001, at the age of 92.
