VATICAN CITY, APR 8, 1999 (VIS) - Archbishop John Foley, president of the Pontifical Council for Social Communications, gave the opening address today at the Congress of the European Bishops' Media Committee, which is taking place in a Benedictine monastery in Montserrat, Spain. Tomorrow he will preach a homily at a Mass for the European bishops and media officials.
