28 July at the age of 83.
- Archbishop Salvatore Cassisa,
emeritus of Monreale, Italy, on 3 August at the age of 93.
- Bishop Rogelio Ricardo Livieres

of 69.
- Cardinal Laszlo Pacifik Paskai,
