- Bishop Jean-Louis Papin of Nancy.
- Bishop Vincent Jordy of Saint-Claude.
- Bishop Jean-Paul Mathieu of Saint-Die.
- Bishop Francois Maupu of Verdun.
- Archbishop Jean-Pierre Grallet O.F.M. of Strasbourg, accompanied by Auxiliary Bishop Vincent Dollman.
