VATICAN CITY, OCT 18, 2005 (VIS) - The Holy Father appointed Msgr. Renato Pine Mayugba of the clergy of the archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan, Philippines, rector of the Mary Help of Christians Seminary in Bonuan, as auxiliary bishop of the archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan (area 1,565, population 1,215,000, Catholics 1,002,000, priests 74, religious 61). The bishop-elect was born in Sampaloc, Philippines in 1955 and ordained a priest in 1981.
