- Bishop Victor Benito Galeone of Saint Augustine.
- Bishop Robert Nugent Lynch of Saint Petersburg.
- Bishop John Joseph Nevins of Venice.
- Cardinal Walter Kasper, Bishop Brian Farrell, L.C., and Fr. Josef M. Maj, S.J., respectively president, secretary and official of the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity.
