- Four prelates from the French Episcopal Conference on their "ad limina" visit:
- Archbishop Albert Rouet of Poitiers.
- Bishop Gaston Poulain of Perigueux.
- Bishop Andre Marceau of Perpignan-Elne.
- Bishop Claude Dagens of Angouleme.
