VATICAN CITY, DEC 2, 2003 (VIS) - The Holy Father today received in separate audiences:
- Cardinal Joachim Meisner, archbishop of Cologne, Germany.
- Archbishop Augustine Kasujja, apostolic nuncio in Algeria and Tunisia.
- Sanjbegz Tumur-Ochir, president of Mongolia's parliament, accompanied by his wife and an entourage.
- Two prelates from the French Episcopal Conference on their 'ad limina' visit :
- Bishop Jacques Maurice Faivre of Le Mans.
- Bishop Michel Santier of Lucon.
Later this afternoon, the Holy Father is scheduled to receive in audience four prelates the French Episcopal Conference on their 'ad limina' visit:
- Bishop Georges Soubrier, P.S.S., of Nantes.
- Bishop Clement Guillon, C.I.M., of Quimper.
- Bishop Lucien Fruchaud of Saint-Brieuc.
- Bishop Francois-Mathurin Gourves of Vannes.
