- Bishop John Mulagada of Eluru.

- Bishop Bali Gali of Guntur.

- Bishop Innayya Chinna Addagatla of Srikakulam.

- Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
- Cardinal Francis Arinze, prefect of the Congregation for Divine Worship and Discipline of Sacraments.
