- Cardinal Giuseppe Maria Sensi, former apostolic nuncio, on July 26, at the age of 94.
- Bishop Thomas Khamphan, former apostolic vicar of Pakse, Laos, on July 26, at the age of 75.
- Archbishop Francis Roberts Rush, emeritus of Brisbane, Australia, on July 21, at the age of 84.
- Archbishop Giuseppe Vairo, emeritus of Potenza-Muro Lucano-Marisco Nuovo, Italy, on July 25, at the age of 84.
