Gerald Holohan, of the clergy of the archdiocese of Perth, Australia, vicar of education of the same archdiocese, as bishop of Bunbury (area 184,000, population 250,000, Catholics 48,900, priests 29, permanent deacons 9, religious 55), Australia. The bishop-elect was born in Perth, in 1947, and ordained to the priesthood in 1971.
