JUBILEE CALENDAR OF EVENTS FOR FEBRUARY 2000

VATICAN CITY, FEB 1, 2000 (VIS) - Following are the Jubilee events scheduled for the month of February 2000:

- Wednesday 2: Feast of the Presentation of the Lord. In St. Peter's Square, the Liturgy of Light and Holy Mass. Jubilee of Consecrated Life.

- Wednesday 9: Memorial of St. Maron. Divine Liturgy in the Syro-Antiochene Rite (Maronite) in the Basilica of St. Mary Major.

- Friday 11: Memorial of Our Lady of Lourdes. Mass in St. Peter's Basilica, and Celebration of the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. Jubilee of the sick and health care workers.

- Friday 18: Memorial of Blessed John (Fra Angelico). St. Peter's Basilica. Jubilee of artists.

- Sunday 20: Jubilee of permanent deacons. Ordination of deacons in St. Peter's Basilica.

- Tuesday 22: Solemnity of the Chair of St. Peter Apostle. In St. Peter's Basilica, Mass and Jubilee of the Roman Curia.

- Thursday 24 to Saturday 26: Apostolic trip to the Sinai.

- Friday 25 to Sunday 27: Study Congress on the implementation of the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council.
