- Juan Gavarrete Soberon, ambassador of Guatemala, accompanied by his wife, on a farewell visit.
- Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, prefect of the Congregation for Bishops.
- Msgr. Felix Anthony Machado, archbishop-bishop-elect of Nashik, India.
This evening, he is scheduled to receive in audience Cardinal William Joseph Levada, prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
