VATICAN CITY, FEB 4, 2000 (VIS) - The Holy Father today received in separate audiences:

- Cardinal Adolfo Antonio Suarez Rivera, archbishop of Monterrey, Mexico.
- Archbishop Luis Morales Reyes of San Luis Potosi, Mexico, president of the Mexican Episcopal Conference.
- Archbishop Sergio Obeso Rivera of Jalapa, Mexico.
- Archbishop Jorge Maria Mejia, archivist and librarian of the Holy Roman Church, accompanied by an entourage.
- Bishop Justo Oscar Laguna of Moron, Argentina.
- Bishop Lucio Renna O.C., of Avezzano, Italy.

This evening, he is scheduled to receive Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger, prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
