- Bishop Giovanni Locatelli, emeritus of Vigevano, Italy, on February 20 at age 79.
- Archbishop Stanislaus Lokuang, emeritus of Taipei, Taiwan, on February 28 at age 93.
- Archbishop Antonio Lopez Avina, emeritus of Durango, Mexico on February 25 at age 88.
- Bishop Francisco Jose Perez y Fernandez-Golfin of Getafe, Spain on February 25 at age 73.
