MEMBERS OF COMMISSION FOR THE MESSAGE ANNOUNCED

VATICAN CITY, OCT 5, 1999 (VIS) - The following officials and members of the Commission for the Message of the Special Assembly for Europe were announced today:

President:
Cardinal Dionigi Tettamanzi, archbishop of Genoa, Italy.

Vice President:
Archbishop Audrys Juozas Backis of Vilnius, Lithuania.

Members:
- Bishop Viktor Josef Dammertz O.S.B., of Augsburg, Germany.
- Archbishop Joseph Dore P.S.S., of Strasbourg, France.
- Bishop Roger Francis Crispian Hollis of Portsmouth, England. - Bishop Lubomyr Husar M.S.U., by special appointment senior auxiliary archbishop of Lviv, Ukraine.
- Bishop Franjo Komarica of Banja Luka, Bosnia-Herzegovina.
- Archbishop Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz, apostolic administrator of European Russia of the Latin Rite.
