Paulo Roberto Beloto of Formosa as bishop of Franca (area 6,721,
population 835,000, Catholics 659,000, priests 76, permanent deacons
17, religious 70), Brazil. Bishop Beloto was born in Adamantina,
Brazil in 1957, was ordained a priest in 1986, and received episcopal
ordination in 2006.
