- Cardinal Joao Braz de Aviz, prefect
of the Congregation for the Institutes of Consecrated Life and the
Societies of Apostolic Life, accompanied by Archbishop Jose Rodriguez
Carballo, secretary of the same dicastery.
- Cardinal Gualtiero Bassetti,
archbishop of Perugia-Citta della Pieve.
Yesterday, 8 July, the Holy Father
received in audience:
- Cardinal Leonardo Sandri, prefect of
the Congregation for the Oriental Churches.
- Cardinal Angelo Amato, S.D.B.,
prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints.
- Cardinal Beniamino Stella, prefect of
the Congregation for the Clergy.
