Vatican City, 14 March 2014 (VIS) –
This morning at 9 a.m., in the Redemptoris Mater Chapel, Fr. Raniero
Cantalamessa O.F.M. Cap., preacher of the Papal Household, pronounced
the first sermon of Lent on the theme “On the shoulders of giants –
the great truths of our faith contemplated by the Fathers of the
Latin Church”.
The other four sermons will be
pronounced on Fridays 21 and 28 of March, and on 4 and 11 April.
