the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples.
- Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, president
of the Pontifical Council for the Family.
- Bishop Alain de Raemy, auxiliary of
Lausanne, Geneva and Fribourg, Switzerland.
On Saturday, 18 January, the Holy
Father received in audience:
- Cardinal Marc Ouellet, prefect of the
Congregation for Bishops.
- Cardinal Karl Lehmann, bishop of
Mainz, Federal Republic of Germany.
