- Bishop Jean-Paul James of Nantes.
- Bishop Jean-Marie Le Vert of Quimper, Cornouailles.
- Bishop Denis Moutel of Saint-Brieuc.
- Bishop Raymond Centene of Vannes.
- Archbishop Gerhard Ludwig Muller, prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith.
