- Archbishop Joseph Mittathany of Imphal, accompanied by coadjutor Bishop Dominic Lumon.

- Bishop Thomas Pulloppillil of Bongaigaon.

- Bishop Jose Mukala of Kohima.

- Cardinal Jean-Marie Lustiger, archbishop of Paris, France.
