Fernando Carlos Maletti, pastor of San Cayetano in Buenos Aires, as bishop of San Carlos de Bariloche (area 76,986, population 120,000, Catholics 108,677, priests 15, permanent deacons 2, religious 36), Argentina. The bishop-elect was born in Buenos Aires in 1947, and ordained to the priesthood in 1973.
