HOLY FATHER TO PRESIDE AT LITURGY IN ARMENIAN RITE

VATICAN CITY, FEB 13, 2001 (VIS) - On Sunday, February 18, at 9 a.m. in St. Peter's Basilica, Pope John Paul II will preside at the divine liturgy in the Armenian rite on the occasion of the 17th centenary of the baptism of the Armenian people, according to a communique from the Office of Liturgical Celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff. It adds that the liturgy will be celebrated by His Beatitude Nerses Bedros XIX, patriarch of Cilicia of the Armenian Catholics.
