VATICAN CITY, FEB 1, 2000 (VIS) - The Holy Father's general prayer intention for February is: "That Christian communities may be such as are welcoming to all consecrated vocations, however diverse they may be."

His missionary intention is: "That the pilgrims who will visit Rome, Jerusalem and other Christian sanctuaries may become messangers of the 'Good News' of hope for contemporary men and women."
