CARDINAL SODANO RECEIVES THE PRIME MINISTER OF LESOTHO

VATICAN CITY, SEP 14, 1999 (VIS) - This morning, Holy See Press Office Director Joaquin Navarro-Valls made the following declaration:

"This morning, Tuesday, September 14, His Eminence Cardinal Secretary of State Angelo Sodano received Phakalita Mosisili, prime minister of the Kingdom of Lesotho, accompanied by the foreign minister of the same country.

"In the course of the discussion, the present political and social situation of the continent was discussed. Special attention was given to the question of schools and health in Lesotho where fruitful cooperation is taking place between Church and State."
